Tacoma halted all operations this morning after another longshore worker died in an industrial accident at a port terminal.
Specific details of how the accident at the port’s APM Terminal were not immediately available. Port spokeswoman Julie Collins said the accident happened about 8 a.m.
The death is the second in less than two weeks at port terminals. Another longshore worker died March 12 while working on a container crane at Pierce County Terminal.
